Projects for hospitals can be expected to involve high DHW demand. All electricity production would be absorbed without difficulty. Potentially for LoadTracker CHP, this scenario is close enough to ideal.
Noise abatement is a further significant issue in hospitals. LoadTracker CHP is well-positioned in this regard, with an internal silencer holding down noise emission to 49 dB(A) at 1 metre. There is no need for a separate acoustic enclosure.
LoadTracker will contribute valuable points to the consultant’s BREEAM assessment. Nevertheless it is important to neutralise any influence which may prevent the CHP unit from operating to the maximum. To this effect, SAV-Systems provide layout recommendations as the LTHW schematics are drawn up. They are also happy to review the pre-tender versions. Special attention is given to any pipe work configurations which might lead to unsustainably high return temperatures. Such reviews at an early stage are the best guarantee of trouble-free operation later on. SAV-Systems welcomes the submission of schematics at any pre-installation stage of a CHP project. Needless to say, the earlier, the better!
