SAV SYSTEMS LAUNCH NEW RANGE OF UNDERFLOOR HEATING ACTUATORS

SAV Systems has launched a new range of Electro-Thermal Actuators purpose designed for accurate energy-efficient control of underfloor heating systems.

The new low power consumption units represent the fourth generation of Actuators developed in Germany by controls specialists Mohlenhoff and they feature a number of innovations based on practical experience of underfloor heating installations across Europe.

SAV Systems are distributors for Mohlenhoff products in the UK and the new OEM range will make a perfect complement to the company's popular thermostats and wiring centres, plus SAV's own versatile manifolds.

Guaranteed to integrate perfectly with up to 99% of all valves and manifolds on the market Mohlenhoff OEM Actuators modulate flow of warm water through the individual underfloor heating loops in response to the zone thermostat. mhlnhff_waterproof.jpg

OEM Actuators feature specially designed plug and cable connections to the wiring centre, with 100% protection against water penetration. This special, easy to use system not only ensures fast, accurate first time connections, but also simplifies changing an individual Actuator should this be required at any time over the life of the system.

Snap-on assembly removes the need for any special tools and the special "first-open" function permits easy checking of each heating circuit before power supplies are connected. This function automatically disengages after the first operation of the Actuator.

A 4mm stroke hub display indicates proper seating of the Actuator when slightly raised. This easy to read feature shows instantly if the Actuator is operating.

Mohlenhoff OEM Actuators can be installed in any position through a full 360 o.

Whatever the angle, full protection against leaky valves or sprayed water is assured by the patented sealed construction to IP54.

Full protection against electrical power surges up to a minimum 2.5kV is also provided in accordance with EN 60730-2-1.

Power consumption of each OEM Actuator is only 1.8W.
