AquaCon™ Domestic Modules

Example of hot and cold sanitary water distribution

AquaCon™ Domestic Modules are purpose-designed for sanitary applications in commercial and public sector projects. They make a perfect complement to the comprehensive FAR range of hot and cold water header arrangements – acknowledged to be among the finest in the world.  Combining  FAR manifolds – from simple ¾ in arrangements up to the 2.Oin Start unit – with AquaCon™ Modules ensures safe, hygienic distribution of all domestic hot and cold water services.

The system is suitable for use with all types of pipe including copper, composite and plastic pipes including pipe-in-pipe format to meet the requirements for access to concealed pipework as required by Water Bylaw 58 and BS6700:1987.

Hot and cold water connections are clearly identified, so that each individual outlet – tap, showerhead etc – can be readily identified and isolated. System balancing and isolation valves can also be integrated where required.

Pipe-in-pipe installation is a popular option for the AquaCon™ range. Pipes - in their outer conduit - can be run from the manifold either through the floor, or chased into the wall. At the outlet end pipes are connected to plastic terminal boxes, which can be located in a suitable wall position, with the aid of a special mounting plate to ensure perfect alignment. Pipes can then be connected to the outlet taps.

Where a pipe-in-pipe solution is used, connections to any individual outlet can be isolated and the inner pipe drawn out for replacement with minimum disruption to the overall system.
