Central Plant Energy Generation

Complete SAV LoadTracker systems - incorporating mini-CHP unit and thermal store and where required heat pump, boilers etc - can be supplied as prefabricated plantrooms, or skid mounted units ready for connection to heating system pipework.

Energy saving potential is enormous – an installation at one of Scotland’s leading hotels has doubled energy efficiency to 96% and slashed electricity bills by a third!

With their variable control scroll type compressors and outputs from 8 kW to 30 kW Aero Heat Pumps make a perfect match for the LoadTracker concept. The high COP’s of Aero units - between 4.2 and 4.4 according to model will help to shrink the carbon footprint of the project.

aM&T System Monitoring

Designed to meet all Automatic Monitoring and Targeting (aM&T) requirements, SAV Watchman provides a 24/7 sentinel - reducing consumption by continuously monitoring performance against target. Weather compensation, flow and return water temperatures are key Watchman focus points.

Energy savings of between 20-50% are made possible and the carbon footprint of the building can be shrunk down to an acceptable size.

AHU’s Fan Coils and Chilled Beams

SAV FloCon and MonoLink Modules equipped with DPCV’s can be used to maximize the energy saving potential of variable speed systems – up to 75% of pump energy. Closer control of terminal performance ensures that heating and cooling media return to the central plant at the optimum temperature for energy-efficiency.

Flexible Pipe Fittings and Tools

SAV Systems offers a host of energy efficient products from a complete range of flexible plastic pipes - including multilayer – with match press fittings and tools through to ball valves and water meters. Many are available for direct supply through SAV Express.

Potable Water Systems

Danfoss substations and SAV AquaCon Modules bring a dramatically improved level of energy-saving heat transfer efficiency to domestic water supplies. Because hot water is only generated when it is required there are no storage losses in the system.  No separate storage cylinder, or calorifier is required, yet hot water is instantly available. Return water temperatures are low – ideal for condensing boilers, district heating networks and other energy-efficient heat generators.

SAV AquaCon Modules can be built with integrated energy metering, underfloor heating or radiator manifolds and special controls.

Radiant Heating and Cooling Systems

Manifolds, controls, pipework and fittings are available to meet the requirement of modern radiator systems and the needs of underfloor heating and cooling solutions for both domestic and commercial applications.

Options include FloCon manifolds for both radiators and underfloor heating/cooling and the outstanding FAR ZonaFar range of manifolds from 1in up to 1½ in with cast bodies that permit location of the control valves on the side of the manifold. Offset valves are guarded against leaks and system debris.

We can also offer the full range from Mohlenhoff – the acknowledged industry leader for underfloor actuators and system controls including thermostats.
